Dogs and cats are not the only animals that need help and find it at a rescue shelter on the outskirts of Yogyakarta on the island of Java. This pig, which was living in inhumane and abusive conditions on its way to the broiler, was given sanctuary and the chance for a long, more comfortable life in a spacious pen by a wooded valley.
