A flamboyant moss-roofed outhouse stands facing the dark spruce forest in an artistic enclave off Route 389 in eastern Quebec, Canada. The outhouse stall has no door, so users are required to swivel a hinged shovel handle into the path of any comer to indicate: "Occupé."
