A dollop of ice adorns a nearly perfect head of broccoli growing in the autumn of 2012 in the fields of the Green Earth Farm east of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, Labrador, Canada. The growing season in this subarctic region is not as short as most people would assume, allowing the cultivation of many types of plants not endemic to the area.
