Fishmeal is allowed to stew in the autumn sun on Herb Brown's Green Earth Farm. When it's ready he will spread it in the fields to fertilize the ground for the seeds that will be planted in the coming spring. Labradorians have for centuries used whatever they could find in their harsh northern land, including fish and seaweed, to produce fertilizer for their crops.
