Aboriginal drummers sound the beat for a March 5, 2014 demonstration on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Canada. People had gathered to draw attention to the murder a few weeks earlier of a Labrador Inuk woman named Loretta Saunders. She was a student at Saint Mary's University in Nova Scotia writing a thesis about the disproportionate number of native women who were going missing and being killed in Canada.
