Hundreds of junked railway carriages once used by PT Kereta Api Indonesia, the country's passenger rail service, lay abandoned by the main tracks about an hour east of Jakarta on the island of Java. KAI has been upgrading its services all around Indonesia, but the company has apparently not figured out what to do with its unwanted rolling stock.
