Demonstrators prepare to march bearing banners displaying messages about Loretta Saunders, a Labrador Inuk woman who was killed in Nova Scotia only a few weeks earlier in February 2014. Saunders had been a student writing a thesis about the disproportionate number of native women who were going missing and being killed in Canada.
